Tattoo Aftercare by Krossinks

Your tattoo is an open wound. Proper aftercare is essential for healing, colour retention, and avoiding infection. Follow these steps carefully.Write your text here...

If redness, swelling, pus, or severe pain increases after 48 hours, contact your tattoo artist or a doctor immediately.

Day 1 – Immediately After Tattoo

  • Keep the bandage on for 24 hours or as advised by your artist.

  • Before removing the bandage, wash your hands properly.

Daily Cleaning Routine

  • Clean your tattoo twice a day (morning & night).

  • Use lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap.

  • Gently clean using your fingers only. Do not scrub.

  • Pat dry with a clean towel or let it air dry.

Applying Krossink Healing Balm

  • Use Krossink Healing Balm only on clean, dry skin.

  • Apply a thin layer over the tattoo.

  • Use 2–3 times daily.

  • Do not over-apply — the skin needs to breathe to heal properly.

Healing Phase (Day 3 to Day 14)

  • Mild itching, dryness, peeling, or scabbing is normal.

  • Do not scratch, pick, or peel the scabs.

  • Let scabs fall off naturally to avoid fading or patchy healing.

  • Continue using the healing balm until the skin looks normal.

What to Avoid

  • ❌ Swimming pools, sea, rivers, or hot tubs for at least 2–4 weeks

  • ❌ Long baths or soaking the tattoo

  • ❌ Direct sunlight until the tattoo is fully healed

  • ❌ Tight or rough clothing rubbing against the tattoo

  • ❌ Perfumed, alcohol-based, or unknown creams

Indian Weather & Monsoon Care

  • Keep the tattoo clean and dry at all times.

  • If the tattoo gets wet due to sweat or rain, gently wash and dry it.

  • Avoid wearing wet or damp clothes over the tattoo area.

  • Hygiene is very important in humid weather.

When to Contact a Doctor or the Studio

If you notice any of the following:

  • Increasing redness or swelling

  • Yellow or green discharge (pus)
